Warranty & Returns
Reflection period
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason. After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return your product. You will then be credited with the full order amount, including shipping costs. Only the return costs from your home to the online store are at your own expense. These costs are approximately €7.25 per package; consult your carrier's website for exact rates. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to the company with all accessories supplied and – if reasonably possible – in its original condition and packaging. To exercise this right, you can contact us at houseoftheants@hotmail.com . We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days of registering your return, provided the product has already been returned in good order. If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged more than necessary to try it out, we may charge you for the reduction in value of the product. Therefore, please treat the product with care and ensure that it is properly packaged when returned.
Warranty
We care about our products and naturally do our best to deliver them to you in top condition. However, it sometimes happens that an order is damaged during transport or something else happens that entitles you to a warranty claim. Under European law, we are liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 14 days of delivery of the goods. You may have additional rights under Dutch law.
If you discover, or should discover, a defect in the product, you must contact us within a reasonable period of time. A reasonable period is at least 14 days. Under certain circumstances, a period of more than two months may also be acceptable.
If you contact us in time, we will arrange for a free repair or replacement.
Complaints
It can always happen that something doesn't go exactly as planned. We recommend that you first report your complaint to us by emailing houseoftheants@hotmail.com. If this doesn't lead to a solution, you can submit your dispute for mediation through WebwinkelKeur at https://www.webwinkelkeur.nl/kennisbank/consumenten/geschil . Consumers in the EU can also submit complaints through the European Commission's ODR platform. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr . If your complaint is not yet being handled elsewhere, you are free to submit it through the European Union platform.
